New Little Black Bag - $29.95

   Little Black Bag has decided to try something new. They've come out with a $29.95 bag. You pick 1 item of your choice and they pick another item for you, just like the $49.95 bag. The way I've heard it is you can only get 3 items for that price if there is a promotion going on, much like the Sugarfina promotion now where each bag gets a free box of candy to trade. Together your items will be valued in the $50-$70 range. When it first came out a day ago, people were saying they wished the lower priced purses were in it. Unless LBB has changed it, there are no purses to choose from for that bag. Don't forget, you only get 3 days to trade this bag!
   This is a great idea for someone who doesn't want to always spend $50! LBB has said that the last bag that you have picked will be the bag you are charged for between the monthly time of the 1st - 5th of the month(if you don't skip etc.)
  I just got my October LBB two days ago. I will definitely take pictures soon! I got the Melie Bianco Pailine bag, Betsey Johnson earrings, and another pair of earrings. Can't think of everything at the moment! I'm also waiting on y brother's Loot Crate that I bought him. It should be here at the end of the week. I also got my dad a BuluBox. Not sure when it's coming though! I haven't heard from them! Expect new reviews soon!

Ahhh, foil packets. Atleast this is something I'm excited to try!
Edit: I tried this before my little date yesterday, the 20th, and he didn't notice any difference(of course), but I loved it. It's very different than any make up I've ever used. It's thick coming out of the packet but still breathable and blends well on the skin. It's a great base with make up or alone!

I'm kind of mad at how tiny this sample is. Very cute packaging idea, but it's not enough to even sample. How can you tell if you love a product or if it works in just one use? It better be some amazing stuff!!

This was a pretty okay box. Doesn't blow me away as my first birchbox, and many people are upset about their boxes too this month. But I feel like if I cancel now that next months will be amazing! haha

Birchbox is known as one of the best subscription boxes because of their reward system. You get 10 points for every review you give for the products you received. 100 points is $10. You can spend them at birchbox's store. I got 6 items in this box. It's almost like my box was only $4!

Wholesale-dress.net Review 1

Hey guys, I’m going to review my purchases from wholesale-dress at www.wholesale-dress.net. It is an Asian wholesale website. You order it overseas(if you’re not currently in Asia) and it takes a while to get through customs and everything but I think it’s worth it. The good thing about this website is that they have a US Warehouse in New York. If you order from that warehouse(there are warehouse options in the top right hand side of the website) it takes less time and the shipping is less. These websites are basically clothes without the middle man involved. It’s clothes that get sent to stores in the US and other places a lot of the times. Most all of these clothes come with tags attached.

These wholesale websites do allow you to buy a lot at a time if you have a store to sell them in. Some of these sites do not allow just one piece to be purchased. These sites actually recommend that the prices of some  these clothes can be marked up by 300% once you put them in your store(ie. boutique prices!!!). Don’t chastise me for buying from them! I will gladly hear your opinion, but there’s no need for hateful remarks. I love to find fashion for less, so I wanted to explore this growing trend. Wholesale-dress currently has over 300,000 Facebook likes.

    Overall, I loved this hat! It’s so cute and   feminine. This being my first order I was  nervous about how the quality would be. I researched many of these wholesale websites and found this one to be the best. They have been in business for quite a while and they have a warehouse in the US. I would highly recommend ordering from their US warehouse first if you’re curious about this website. Back to the hat, the colors are just about the same and the quality is pretty good. It’s a lot like something you’d find at Forever 21. Some discoloration on the flowers and the black band could be sewn a bit better. But for $3.62 I am VERY happy!

I give the hat an 8/10.

This top is pretty cute! I loved the bottle design on it. The obvious “Fragrance” letting kind of annoys me but who’s going to read it anyways? I didn’t really pay attention when I ordered it, the sleeves are big and open which is not my favorite. The bottom is banded which is good for a dress, not so much for a top. Luckily I’m short enough for it to be a dress. I’m about 5 foot. The colors are the same as pictured and measurements are good. It’s a little thin and the shape is odd. Sorry for the lame mirror picture! haha I didn’t have time to take a pretty one! I paired it with black leggings to show you guys the length. I’d never wear it as a dress without leggings! I don’t know about you guys, but booty thigh hanging out of a short dress is not cute! I would’ve loved for it to be a little more loose in the bottom. I would still wear it though!

I give this shirt a 6/10.

These earrings are great! They look exactly like the pictures! Sorry, guys I was being a bit of a lazy today and didn’t take a picture on my side. But I promise they are just like the picture! Super cute and very fun to wear. Its black and rhinestones in a zebra pattern. Who wouldn’t love that? It does not come with the metal earring backs though just the clear little protective backing that comes on earrings at the store. I just used some extra ones I had from another pair. If this really bothers you try searching earring backs on amazon and I’m sure you can get a lot for a pretty cheap price!

I give the earrings a 9/10.

Some tips for ordering from this site or these types of sites:

• Start with a small order of a little of each type of clothing, that way you can feel out how reliable the website is or if it at least meets your standards.
• The shipping can get VERY expensive. It is calculated by weight, shop wisely!
• Anything made from chiffon could easily be a lesser quality (ie. sewn bad, missing buttons, threads, etc.) Cotton is usually a safe route to go though still may have some problems, but it’s less common.
• These websites have very low quantity of each item, order fast if you want something. Wholesale-dress is one of the only sites that show you how much they have in stock.
• IMPORTANT: These websites are not selling you what is EXACTLY pictures. There can and most likely will be some differences. They use the pictures from Asian magazines and fashion and make something similar. None of the items I have ever ordered has been something completely different pictured(I have not ordered anything chiffon yet though! haha). I have seen a few stories of people getting back clothes that are NOT like the picture at all though(most coming from not as popular wholesale websites). Always research the website!
• Remember that these clothes are cheap. You are going to get cheap quality most of the time. In my opinion, it’s usually not any different than Forever 21, Wet Seal, or Rue 21. I’d say 1 out of 5 things you get from those stores are messed up somehow.
• Jewelry is usually safe to order and expect it to look the same.
• You can ALWAYS chat with the customer service(this is regarding wholesale-dress.net, I don’t know about the other websites) and ask them questions about how accurate the measurements or picture is to the product. They will acknowledge that the products will usually be a little different. They will more often than not tell you any measurements and answer any questions you have.

I love getting my Beauty Box 5. It's one of the first boxes I signed up for. The packaging is unique, and super cute!

Goat Haus Dairy lip balm in Sugar Kisses

First of all, I've got to say, I received a Goat Haus Dairy bath bomb in my last BB5 box and it is absolutely amazing! It smells great! I break off little pieces just so I don't use it all at once. I will definitely purchase more. 

This lip balm is very sweet smelling. Like vanilla and sugar. It goes on very soft and only has a slight taste to it. Feels very moisturizing. I'm a lip balm junkie, so this will be put to good use! This is full size! It's worth $2.50.

Margania Pure Argan Oil

This oil contains high level of Vitamin E and skin-supporting fatty acids according to the card. It says "use alone or mix with your moisturizer." This sounds great! I will be using this. As far as I can tell it has no weird smell or anything that these oils have sometimes. 100% organic.

The size of this sample is not displayed on the card nor box, but 5 ml is $32.00.

City Lips lip plumper

This is a cute little sample. The card reads, "packed with antioxidants and moisturizing ingredients." It smells very lipstickish. The color is a little too pink for me, but if it goes on as a gloss then I may use it!

Furlesse Elevens

These look a lot like the pore cleansing nose strips by Biore. I don't have a need for these (yet!), so I gave them to my mom. She is going to try them out this weekend. I'll update this review with her opinions. The product states that it only takes a few hours to see results!

Retail: 30 patches for $19.95

Lash Card lash cards

I'm sure these would be useful to some people, but I just don't see myself using these. It seems like too much work. haha! I will try them eventually though!

Sample size: $1.40 for 2

Retail: $6.99 for a 10 pack

ShowStoppers fashion tape

These are to keep your clothes in place! No one deserves the dreaded nip slip! I will probably never use these either, but it's nice to have some just in case.

Sample size: .83 cents for 2 strips

Retail: $9.99 for 24 strips

Even though some of these products I will most likely never use it's nice to discover the different brands!

Overall the Beauty Box 5 was worth over $15 (depending on the argan oil worth). I pay $12 a month.

Last months Beauty Box 5 was better. I have canceled this subscription to make room for others, but I may renew in the future!

The Look Bag October 2012

The Look Bag

I was so excited to get my Look Bag today! It was actually the fastest of all of my subscriptions. This is my first Look Bag and looks to be the first bag they sent out after a hiatus by what the card says. I adore the pink packaging! The make up all came in a cute mesh draw string bag. The card is pretty informative and looks really nice. It does not give value however.

This POP Beauty Nail Glam nail polish has a cute bottle!

The card says, “Contains Nylon which    creates a strengthening non-chip barrier so nails stay sensational! Non occlusive formula prevents staining of nails.”

I did some research and found the color name: CRASH, No. 57 Broken Black 0.5 oz (15 ml). I have not used it because I already have an OPI shatter nail polish. It is a little out of style, but I may give this to a friend.

It is full size!

Worth $10 on POP’s website. (though this color is not available on their website anymore)

Freeman Bare Foot Scrub

I will be using this! I will use anything that makes my feet softer. Honestly, I’ve got unfortunate feet for a girl. Not stinky! Just peels like crazy! Hopefully this works! It’s peppermint and plum. Not to keen on peppermint, but maybe the plum will overpower it.

“Extracts of plum and peppermint invigorate your feet while exfoliating the rough, dry patches on soles and heels”

Worth .80 cents.

   

York Rejuvenating Sunscreen Lip Balm SPF 15

“This very rare and hard to find sun protecting and candy scentful lip balm, that when applied reminds us of a peppermint pattie.”

I absolutely hate their description of this. I am a literate nut and this sentence just bothers me so much. haha

But anyways, this is a square lip balm. I do not like York or anything minty really so I didn’t even want to open it, but I love that it has SPF!

The price tag on the back of the package says $3.00. I found only one auction on Ebay for this for $1.79 from someone who says they buy discontinued lots. It does not say it is full size on the card, but I believe it is. When I searched for this product online I found nothing. I believe this may be a discontinued product.
It does not look old, beat up, or used, however.

Pixi Lip and Line Primer

Smells very sugary. I have not tried this yet, but I’m looking forward to it! I’m excited to have this in my make up. I never knew anything like this really existed.

“The duo pen contains a lightly tinted Lip Prime that neutralizes lips for a blank canvas, and a clear water proof Lip Line that lines lips and creates a barrier for color.”

$18 at Target.

Stila Mineral Matte Eye Shadow in Sajama

I was excited to see Stila! This is a rich and sultry color. It looks much darker in the packaging though. When applied it is more of a steel color. The pigment is pretty good. It doesn’t take many swipes to show the color. It is also shimmerless. I have dark brown eyes, so I love the look of dark eye shadow.

“Delivers rich brilliant shimmer-free color, enriched with natural minerals for smooth texture. Apply wet to line lids or brush in the crease for contouring or apply over entire lids for a quick prime. Give your eyes a chic modern look.”

Not sure how much it is worth because I couldn’t find anything on this color. Let me know if I just happened to miss it!
